Innovation Day Forum

CLP India

A three-day international event organised to discuss ideas for innovation in energy and enable peers to connect with each other

Client

CLP India, now known as Apraava Energy, is one of the leading names in the energy sector. They have the largest renewable energy portfolio spread across multiple states in India. They set their foot in the year 2002 India with a dream to provide sustainable energy to India.

Brief

Innovation Forum was an event hosted for CLP Group and CLP India jointly where representatives from various countries were slated to fly down to a destination, discuss ideas for innovation in the Energy sector and also network with each other. The previous events were done internationally. This was the first time that India was chosen as the destination for this 3-day event. The expected guest count was 100-125. The venue was ITC Maratha, Andheri. The event had to meet international benchmarks, account for the safety of all guests, and offer the experience of Indian culture to the attendees.

Our Approach

We designed a contemporary logo that was a blend of CLP Group and CLP India. The design collaterals โ€” Stage, Welcome Standee, Presentations, Photo Booth โ€” were based on the colours of the logo. We also designed an Experience Kit that contained event-related elements and offered a glimpse of the Indian culture. It consisted of a customized ID card and lanyard, a folder, a diary with pencils, the event agenda, a photo frame, a jute bag and tea jars from The Bombay Store.

The D-Day

We ensured the smooth running of the event by leaving no room for any glitches. There was sufficient laptop backup for presentations. Our technical teams made sure of excellent network connectivity for multi-country video conferencing, and sound & light systems to suit the ambience. The seating was spacious and comfortable.

The eveningโ€™s entertainment had a desi theme where we arranged a safawala at the entry to put safas on all attendees. We hired a band to play Jazz tunes on Indian songs. We had charpai seating and Indian props all over the place.
