Launch Event

UL & Buzil Rossari

A cocktail evening for a product launch, inviting channel partners to book orders and engaging them via giveaways and contests

Client

Established over 100 years ago, Unilever is one of the worldโ€™s largest consumer goods companies. The conglomerate is known for its great brands, a global footprint and its belief in doing business the right way. 

Buzil Rossari is a joint venture between Buzil WERK Wagner GmBH & Co KG and Rossari Biotech Limited. Incorporated in December 2013, this company offers cleaning and hygiene solutions to customers in SAARC/South Asian Countries from its establishment in Mumbai, India. Buzil Rossari is also a manufacturing and distribution partner for Unilever.

Brief

Unilever planned to introduce its professional cleaning range โ€” Unilever Professional โ€” aiming at the Hotels, Restaurants and Catering (HoReCa) customers in India through a launch event. As Buzil Rossari is the official distributional partner, the two companies together decided to invite their channel partners for a cocktail evening. This multi-city event would focus on the product launch, order booking offers, giveaways, and engaging activities. 

Our Approach

We coined a theme as Partner Connect where channel partners would attend the event for a larger purpose โ€” to be a key partner in driving new business for Unilever and Buzil Rossari. Our team called up every channel partner to extend a warm welcome and explain the purpose of the event. Next, we enlisted premium hotel properties and struck a good package deal for the client. We suggested engagement activities that focused on co-creation, as it was the core agenda of the event โ€” Co-create, Collaborate, and Conquer. 

The D-Day

We built up excitement for the launch party through several interesting activities, such as a thumbprint activity, an instant photo booth with a customized frame, and free samples in customized bags. To add on to these attractions were unlimited starters and drinks, and engaging hosts to add vibrancy to the event. 

The highlight of the evening was the engaging and technically-advanced โ€˜Product Display and Experience Zoneโ€™. This space featured an iPad area to explain product features, product display walls, a sit and talk area, and a lot more.

Conclusion

The success of this event lay in engaging execution and an out-of-the-box product display set-up. This cocktail received an overwhelming response from all guests. The guests made the product bookings, channel partners gave positive feedback for the new product range and everyone took a memory along with them of this unique partner connect event.
