Client

Established over 100 years ago, Unilever is one of the worldโ€™s largest consumer goods companies. They are known for their great brands, their global footprint and their belief in doing business the right way.

Brief

The pandemic hit businesses badly. A team from Unilever came up with the GRAB model, which stands for Global Retail Access Model. This new initiative is aimed at finding business partners with like-minded business policies to build a better world post-pandemic. The team worked hard on finding prospective brands to partner with. After finding the right partners, it was crucial to pitch them with opportunities for mutual and the greater benefit of all. The organisation asked us to work on the pitch decks. We received an estimate of around 60+ decks in 3-6 months.

Our Approach

Step 1

The first deck that we worked on was for Uber X Unilever, on an international level. We studied both the brands and culled out their common business practices. The team at HO in Unilever guided us on the format of the presentation. Accordingly, we built a presentation for Uber. Multiple updations and revisions took place. The deal was finally cracked between 2 companies on a global level where Unilever was to provide hygiene products to Uber to ensure #SaferTogether ride.

Step 2

After completing this project, we were flooded with multiple presentations for various sectors ranging from hospitality and food to travel and food delivery. We created a team of presentation designers who were aligned with this project as the output had to be similar. The team worked hard on building the presentations. We ensured no deadlines were missed.

Step 3

Uber, OYO and Zomato were some known deals that Unilever cracked. Next, the organisation transitioned to pitching corporates and malls as they were about to start the offices after post-lockdown. We worked on over 60 presentations in a timeframe of 4-5 months.

Step 4

Looking at the presentations and turnaround time, the UK team of Unilever also approached us to build their GRAB presentations for brands, such as EG Group, Blacklane, Booking.com, EU railways, Premier Inn hotels and Lyft.

Conclusion

This project not only required us to understand the presentations but also offer Unilever suitable branding and association opportunities for mutual benefit. This project was challenging and creative. The client appreciated us for our smooth and skilful execution.
